Email delivery diagnostics

Temporary email not receiving mail
Don’t keep clicking resend

A verification code not appearing right away doesn’t mean the address is invalid. Check the address, timing, queue, and sender policy in order to avoid triggering a cooldown with repeated requests and quickly decide whether you need a long-term email address.

Six checks

Start with the easiest fixes

Move to the next step only after completing the current one. Don’t change the address, request another code, and refresh the target site at the same time, or you’ll lose the clues needed to diagnose the issue.

01 / Address

Copy the full address again

Check for missing characters or extra spaces, and make sure the target site isn’t still using the old address. The safest approach is to return to your inbox, click Copy again, and replace the original field.

02 / Timing

Make sure the countdown hasn’t ended

Once an address expires, it can’t receive new messages. If the process is still incomplete and the address can be extended, extend it before requesting another email; don’t keep sending to an expired address.

03 / Queue

Give the delivery system time to process

Sender batches, network congestion, and anti-spam greylisting can all cause delays of several minutes. The page polls automatically, and you can also refresh manually after waiting.

04 / Cooldown

Avoid repeated verification-code requests

Clicking “Send” several times in quick succession can invalidate earlier codes and may trigger an account or IP cooldown. Keep only the latest request and wait for the full cooldown window.

05 / Policy

Check whether the sender blocks temporary domains

Financial services, payment providers, game marketplaces, and other high-risk services may block disposable domains when you submit a form or before delivery. That’s the sender’s policy; repeatedly switching between similar addresses usually won’t help.

06 / Size

Rule out attachments and oversized messages

Temporary inboxes don’t retain attachments, and messages over 100 MB may be rejected. For attachments, long-term access, or reliable recovery, use a forwarding alias instead.

Important limits

What changing the address can’t fix

A temporary email can only receive messages the sender actually delivers. It can’t make a third party send an email, bypass the sender’s domain policy, or recover an expired inbox. If the sender never created the message, it naturally won’t appear in the ZOSend inbox.

For password recovery, billing, work notifications, attachments, or long-term subscriptions, continued control of the receiving address matters more than short-term convenience. Use a real email address ora permanent forwarding alias; an alias hides your real address while preserving the ability to pause or delete it.

Before contacting support, prepare:The current address, the approximate time you requested the message, the sender’s domain, and any error shown on the page. Never send verification codes, the full email content, or a URL containing inbox credentials.
